Chain Piecing All Day Long

You may remember months ago when I had sewn a panel of 2.5" blue and low volume squares together. That project sat for a while but now it's back on the wall, and it has company!

Squares go under the machine...

...and out the back.

Up on the wall with the blue squares.  This is the width of the quilt but I have one more color panel to add to the length.

  1. That is a lots of seams to match up but I think it is worth the overall look. I have always loved the look of checks- they add warmth and whimsy to any project. I will watch for the third color panel.

  2. Great work! Whew what a lot of little squares. I'm doing something similar but smaller with a charm pack and some white squares. What is the third color you are planning on adding?

  3. Love it - the color palette is so peaceful, but the prints add a lot of movement.

  5. You have so much patience! I like the balance between the colors and prints.
